Lily Allen: Li-Lo silver lining

The new album from Allen looks set to feature an unlikely collaborator: Lindsay Lohan

Is Lily Allen stuck on the naughty step with Lindsay Lohan? Rumours are flying that Allen is working with the American actress, singer and bad-girl on a song for her upcoming album.

The follow-up to 2006's Alright, Still is tentatively titled Stuck On The Naughty Step. Certainly Lohan could do with experiencing the Supernanny-approved device after well-publicised struggles with drugs, family and the law. OK! Magazine is reporting that the two collaborated on a track called Wherever You Go and although neither camp has confirmed the report, further clues abound.

Allen recently blogged about meeting a woman called Samantha, who "brought a rather famous friend with her". This could very well be Samantha Ronson - sister to Allen's former producer Mark Ronson, - a DJ and associate of Lohan's.

On a much simpler level, Lily Allen is presently recording in Los Angeles. Lindsay Lohan lives in Los Angeles. We leave the maths to you.

"I haven't drunk the whole time I've been here in LA, and I'm up every day at eight," Allen said, but we're still not writing anything off.

Stuck On The Naughty Step is being recorded with the Bird and the Bee's Greg Kurstin. A clip of one song, called Guess Who Batman, has already been posted on Allen's MySpace.
